What an asking-price estimate can tell you

A listing price is an advertisement, not evidence of a completed transaction. A group of comparable listings can provide context, but it cannot tell you what a particular buyer will pay.

Match the vehicle

Year, model, trim, mileage, condition, location, equipment, and title history can affect price. Our estimate matches make and model, nearby model years and mileage, plus trim when supplied. It does not apply guessed adjustments for accident history or condition.

Read the range

Our tool uses the middle half of matched asking prices after removing duplicate VINs and statistical outliers. It requires at least five comparable records. Taxes, title, delivery, dealer fees, and insurance are separate. An insurer may use its own valuation process.
